if you know me then you also know of my obsession with the director tim burton and his various movies. i think the love affair started with the nightmare before christmas. or batman. or both. i don't think i knew he directed batman when i saw it at the time though. i do know he was the visionary behind the nightmare before christmas. and i know there are tons of kids running in and out of hot topic who say they love the movie too. but forget the dark tones of his movies for a moment, though i do love them. i think what pulled me in was the music. oh that danny elfman. and there was the basic tale of the movie. i'm not sure i think i really related to jack on some level. now because i love tim burton so much, i also love johnny depp his muse. these days who doesn't love johnny. but i really love him in tim burton movies, although i wish tim burton would branch out past that man and his wife. which brings me to helen bonham carter who i adore as well. its the sainted triad of macabre. okay i'll stop talking now.
